Some of what you will be doing:
Supporting Head Chef in Kitchen Operations: Support daily culinary operations across both hotels ensuring high standards of food quality consistency and presentation.
Team Leadership and Development: Supervise train and inspire the kitchen team along side the other Sous Chefs to maintain a positive efficient and professional work environment.
Food Safety and Compliance: Ensure all kitchen practices meet health safety and hygiene regulations with strict adherence to HACCP standards.
Qualifications :
Desired Qualifications:
Culinary qualification and Food Safety Certification (e.g. NZQA Level 4 HACCP knowledge preferred).
35 years experience in a kitchen or senior kitchen role ideally in a hotel or high-volume environment.
Strong leadership communication and time management skills.
Skilled in menu planning cost control and team training.
Passionate creative and committed to quality safety and cleanliness.
