Within the role of Payroll Officer who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate efficient and compliant payroll services.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and process payroll functions accurately and effectively for all employees.
- Maintain employee records including onboarding terminations and changes
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work ATO Superannuation and STP requirements
- Support salary packaging and other not-for-profit complexities
- Provide timely and professional responses to employee and manager enquiries
- Assist with reconciliations reporting and audit requirements
- Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
Youre a detail-oriented and reliable payroll professional who takes ownership of your work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You bring a strong understanding of payroll legislation and a commitment to accuracy confidentiality and service excellence.
Selection Criteria includes:
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation superannuation and payroll tax
- Proficiency in payroll or HRIS systems (Aurion preferred)
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive team-focused and a passion for continuous improvement
