In this casual position you will be a member of the Patient Services Centre and report to the Patient Services Manager. Your responsibilities will include both front- and back-office administrative processes for the hospital. The casual roles are located at Epworth Eastern in Box Hill and you will work on a rotating 7-day roster with shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
You will make an impact by:
- Processing patients prior to hospital admission
- Assisting patients visitors and medical specialists with admission and discharge related enquiries
- Providing excellent customer service when working in the main or ward reception
- Completing ad hoc bookings for unplanned / after-hours admissions
- Completing other activities including health fund validations estimates patient attendance scheduling and performing informed financial consent
