Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operations of company buildings utilities and grounds.
Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair works (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.).
Manage service contracts and relationships with vendors contractors and cleaners.
Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenditures.
Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate records of facility inspections maintenance logs and asset inventories.
Support space planning and office moves or rearrangements.
Ensure proper waste management and energy conservation practices.
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and complaints.
Recommend improvements for efficiency safety and cost reduction.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Facility Management Engineering Estate Management or a related field.
Minimum of 24 years of relevant experience in facility or building management.
Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical plumbing HVAC).
Experience managing vendors budgets and maintenance schedules.
Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and facility management software
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Benefits
Required Skills:
- Minimum of SSCE. - Must have a valid drivers license. - At least 3 years of experience in driving within Lagos. - Proximity to V.I is an advantage.
