Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of electrical products (Switch Gears Wire & Cables Power Backup Consumer Goods) due to expansion they are currently in need of a NATIONAL PRODUCT MANAGER- AUTOMOBILE BATTERIES

Location: Lagos State

Job Summary:
Were looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead our Automotive Battery business across Nigeria. This role goes beyond traditional sales youll be shaping market strategy driving distribution excellence and building strong dealer networks while ensuring customers experience dependable power solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead sales strategy and execution to expand market share across Nigeria.
Strengthen dealer distributor and retail presence while unlocking new markets (OEMs fleets emerging regions).
Inspire and guide sales & service teams nationwide building a performance driven culture.
Work closely with supply chain & logistics to ensure smooth product movement and availability.
Influence pricing promotions and credit policies while keeping profitability in focus.
Report performance and actionable insights directly to top management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree (MBA a plus) in Business Engineering or related fields.
8 years experience in Automotive Batteries Aftermarket Power Solutions or similar fast-moving industries.
Proven track record managing national or large-scale operations.
Strong dealer/distributor management expertise and market understanding.
Excellent leadership negotiation and people management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
