Job Summary

  • Develop and deliver programs and workshops to staff and students that support wellbeing.
  • Provide counselling and case management support for students in a residential setting.
  • Start date planned for early 2026.
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
  • Base salary range: $104243 $115661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • You will play a key role in fostering a safe energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents.
  • Plan develop and implement resident well-being initiatives support accessibility pathways cocurricular programs and pastoral care to all residents from a diverse range of cultural national socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency.
  • Current registration/eligible for registration with an associated professional organisation such as Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
  • Minimum of two years experience in the provision of mental health support including suicide crisis and risk assessment and intervention.
  • Experience in delivering training/ workshops related to mental health and wellbeing.

Special Requirements

  • Some after-hours work may be required.
  • Current WA Working With Children Check.
  • National Police Clearance Certificate will be conducted.
