Job Summary

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a new Commercial Credit Analyst tojoin our team in Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the Testing Inspection and Certification sector (TIC).

In this role you will report to the Credit Manager and will be responsible for the primary support of the customer onboarding process. You will work with Element Labs and customers to set up new accounts and communicate with internal and external customers effectively; ensuring that all Element policies are being adhered to during the onboarding process. Ifyou are passionate about delivering a best-in-class experience through effective collaboration this role is for you.

Hybrid role: 3 days in office 2 days remote

Responsibilities

  • Work with Element Labs and Credit team to ensure each piece of our journey meets customer expectations
  • Conduct calls to ensure that customers are supported during our onboarding process
  • Issue and adapt welcome packs to all customers
  • Being the first point of contact within the Credit team for customer onboarding queries
  • Manage the transition of the customer to the Credit team after onboarding
  • Setup of new accounts across multiple platforms and continual customer master data management
  • Conduct credit checks with credit reference agencies and continual credit monitoring
  • Assist in developing measurements to help understand the impact of successful onboarding

Skills / Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in multi-site / location customer or credit support
  • Proficiency with accounting software systems
  • Effective prioritization skills and the ability to influence and direct operations
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of cash collection and credit risk processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to function as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience of reading and giving recommendations based on credit reports
  • Microsoft D365 experience
