Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Remote CA OR WA)

Role Overview:

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating with internal and external IT resources in addition to business leadership to facilitate complex cross-departmental requirement gathering and consulting on complicated system implementations integrations and upgrades.


This resource will guide teams through Salesforce-specific implementations integrations and optimizations. The SFDC Business Systems Analyst is expected to stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities and apply them to meet evolving business needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex cross-departmental requirements discovery analysis and documentation for enterprise initiatives.

  • Serve as a Salesforce subject-matter expert across architecture data models workflows roles/profiles and integrations.

  • Coordinate and align work across multiple internal and external IT resources including vendors partners architects developers integration teams and project/program management.

  • Validate requirements against organizational goals roadmaps and feasibility through implementing SMART criteria

  • Mentor teams and individuals on:

    • Analyzing current vs. proposed processes and documenting deltas

    • Collecting organizing and documenting user feedback

    • Creating well-formed user stories in Azure DevOps

    • Building best practices for process workflows mapping documents batch job documentation change requests and acceptance criteria

  • Provide project management support: timeline adjustments stakeholder alignment risk/issue tracking and delivery coordination.

  • Troubleshoot complex reports/extracts and support documentation needs (e.g. SQL queries use cases mockups SharePoint pages).

  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance Engineers and lead when needed on:

  • Test plans test scripts test data and communication plans

  • Bug triage report outs and release readiness

  • Operate as a key member of an agile teamorganizing and mentoring teams on agreements standards and sprint execution.

  • Proactively advocate for continuous improvement in velocity and quality each sprint.

  • Participate in on-call and after-hours support as needed.


Requirements

  • Associates Degree or a combination of equivalent education and relevant work experience

  • 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst on an agile delivery team

  • Expertise in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server

  • Strong background in healthcare regulations such as HIPAA HITECH and CMS guidelines

  • Ability to assess existing processes and identifying improvement opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

  • Demonstrated Salesforce experience across architecture data models workflows and integrations

  • Demonstrated experience with systems integrating with Salesforce (e.g. EHRs billing platforms third-party applications)

  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing Salesforce user roles and profiles

  • Demonstrated experience taking leadership in addressing system-related issues

  • Demonstrated experience using LEAN techniques to analyze requirements and identify automation opportunities
