Main Duties:
- Process purchase invoices through the Accounts Payable software.
- Post general entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Maintain receivables by tracking and following up on outstanding payments.
- Actively chase debtors to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Post and verify employees expense claim forms.
- Perform suppliers reconciliations.
- Assist the Deputy Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required.
What skills do you need:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position ideally within an international or group company environment.
- Exposure to accounting software would be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Maltese will be considered an asset).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs SUMIFs Pivot Tables etc.).
- A-level in Accounting or similar qualification; further education in Finance will be an advantage.
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must.
