Synergie has partnered witha leading steel profile cutting and processing company based in Smithfield is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Forklift Operator to join our busy team.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone whos safety-conscious physically fit and has experience working in a manufacturing or steel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to load/unload steel plates and materials
- Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties
- Supporting machine operators and tradesmen as needed
- Manual handling stacking and sorting of cut steel components
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following WHS and site safety procedures at all times
To Be Successful Youll Need:
- A valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Experience in a steel fabrication or industrial environment (preferred)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Good work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Reliable transport and punctuality
