Job Summary

- Depth of understanding and experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum
Key Accountability (main purpose of the role):
The Executive Principal (Head of School) is responsible for the strategic academic financial human resourcesand operational leadership of the Canadian International School (CIS) located in Singapore. This includesensuring that the school deliversworld-class IB education maintains strong financialsustainability and fosters a thriving community for students staff and families.
The role requires balancing the dual responsibilities ofacademic excellence(curriculumdesign delivery and innovation) andbusiness leadership(financial performance strategicgrowth stakeholder engagement). The Head of School will work closely with the Board ofDirectors to shape the long-term vision and direction of CIS while also serving as its primaryrepresentative to stakeholders in Singapore China Malaysia and the wider globalcommunity.
Position bilingualism as a defining strength of CIS by embedding bilingual and cross-culturallearning opportunities across academics and student life. This will serve as a keydifferentiator enhancing CISs reputation and strengthening its appeal to globally mindedand diverse communities.
The Head of School brings creativity and collaboration in leading a strong seniormanagement team as well as a diverse Board of Directors and ensures that the organization is focused on their core business areas.
