Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspection / patrol to the construction sites within the Railway Protection boundary and along the railway lines to ensure the safety integrity and reliability of the railway structures
Assist in coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders including government departments private developers consultants etc.
Perform the railway safety duties for protecting external parties working within the railway premises
Requirements
Diploma / Certificate in Civil / Structural / Construction Engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of 6 years relevant experience of which 1 year should be at supervisory level
Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both English and Chinese
Knowledge of railway operation and infrastructure maintenance is an advantage
Remarks
Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12000 subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme
