Senior Finance Officer (Treasury Section - Income Team) ()
The Appointee is expected to assist the Senior Finance Manager in supervising a small team of accounting staff to carry out the following duties:
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and efficient income collection including donations Government subventions and auxiliary services and miscellaneous income;
- Closely monitor the income collection systems including the Donation Module Payment Gateways and Accounts Receivable Module;
- Prepare annual and mid-year budget review and year-end audit schedules;
- Prepare committee papers and PowerPoints presentations and review relevant reports including accounts receivable schedules management reports and detailed analysis schedules;
- Work closely with user departments on accounting purchase requests and provide budgetary control services for payment processing; and
- Implement system enhancements and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent with a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory experience gained from sizeable companies;
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
- Demonstration of good analytical skills and PC application skills especially in Excel with experience in using Oracle financial system is an advantage;
- Abilityto work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; and
- Good leadership mature and self-motivated team player.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract for two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
