Our client is hiring an Assurance Specialist to join their team in Brackenfell.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits and compliance assessments to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations policies and industry standards.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.

Plan perform and document audit assignments in line with the annual audit plan.
-
Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional and company standards.
-
Manage audit relationships with line management including performance feedback and remedial action follow-up.

Oversee quality control and assurance functions ensuring timely reporting of deviations.
-
Establish maintain and monitor a comprehensive quality assurance system.
-
Advise on the establishment of standards and procedures and participate in related audits.
-
Ensure compliance with legislated and internal quality standards.
-
Prepare and present clear detailed audit reports and recommendations.
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
-
Minimum of 5 years experience in Internal Audit or Compliance.
-
Professional Internal Audit qualification (preferably CIA).
-
Valid drivers licence and own transport.
-
Prior experience in the transport or logistics industry is advantageous.
