The opportunity
We are seeking a Case Manager to join our Workers Compensation Comcare team based in Melbourne. As a Case Manager youll be responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process delivering a high-quality experience for injured workers and supporting their safe and timely return to work.
Your new role
Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims from end-to-end ensuring timely and effective outcomes for injured workers and the business.
Apply your knowledge of the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) and Comcare regulatory requirements to assess liability.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders treating practitioners and external providers to drive proactive claims management.
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
Work within a supportive team environment that values expertise collaboration and professional development.
About you
Previous experience in insurance and workers compensation with a sound understanding of relevant claims processes.
Strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation with expertise in the SRC Act 1988 (desirable).
Strong influencing capabilities complemented by well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
A customer-centric mindset focused on achieving optimal outcomes for injured workers and stakeholders.
Demonstrated resilience in managing complex and challenging scenarios.
Effective time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn within a dynamic and collaborative team setting.
