About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the ecology division and integrate biodiversity services with construction and nursery operations.
Reporting to the Business Manager/Director key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing budgets timelines and reporting
- Identifying new business and offset opportunities
- Leading ecologists and bush regeneration teams
- Managing ecology projects from planning to delivery
- Advising project teams with practical ecological solutions
- Ensuring compliance with environmental approvals and legislation
- Driving integration between ecology construction and nursery teams
About You
To succeed in this role youll need:
- A practical solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of NSW environmental regulations
- Strong planning budgeting and risk management skills
- Strong leadership in ecology or environmental consulting
- A degree in Ecology Environmental Science or related field
- Hands-on experience in assessments reporting and fieldwork
