As the Aerospace Aftermarket Sales Director within PPGs Aerospace Business you will direct and lead the commercial strategy team to achieve targets and business growth for the entitled Segment. You will lead the sales strategy for an assigned territory while being responsible for meeting sales targets achieving revenue managing the sales pipeline increasing market share and profitability. This is a field role with travel that will be ideally based at our Valencia CA. site. You will report to the General Manager Aerospace Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Implement the strategic plan ensuring the budget execution regarding Sales Profit Contribution Overhead and EBIT.
Drive use of the CRM software develop a pipeline of projects.
Promote use S&OP processes to support demand planning requirement.
Recruit hire and train new members of the sales staff
Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining partnership with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
Lead and promote the sales team communicate job expectations; planning monitoring appraising and reviewing job contributions; enforce policies and procedures.
Monitor commercial activities to implement best practices and leverage technologyto enhance customer relationships
Provide direction to Platform resources via Voice of the Customer activities to driveproduct development.
Ensure an understanding of customer market and competitor activity and providefeedback to the leadership team that able to take proper and anticipated decisions.
Support the commercial and planning team to guarantee the execution of the salesforecast seeking to meet the short medium and long-term needs and demands ofthe business.
Participate in accomplishing the working capital targets through a strong forecastmaintaining healthy inventory levels with a high discipline on the collection process.
Ensure compliance with the regulations and policies established by the control and legal entities.
Qualifications

You must have or be eligible to obtain top secret clearance
Bachelors Degree in Marketing Business or Engineering preferred plus 10 or more years of sales experience
Experience with Microsoft BI or other enterprise data visualization tools
Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM ERP utilities
Salary Range $175000-$190000
