Job Summary
Under broad supervision responsible for the cashiering operations of a university business office assuring compliance with pertinent regulations concerning the receipt custody and handling of money. Balancing and posting deposits on a daily basis. Responsible for servicing student accounts.
Typical Duties:
- Responsible for the Cashier Operations. (Daily balancing; customer service; etc.).
- Reconciliation of daily cashier transactions and reports.
- Safeguarding cash according to policies and procedures.
- Responsible for servicing student accounts answering phones emails and in-person customer inquiries.
- Support Bison One Stop
- Regular reliable attendance is critical.
- Computer software and basic technology skills.
- An excellent acumen for detail and working with numbers.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Maintain both accounting and physical controls over cash checks and other negotiable instruments.
