This is a fantastic opportunity for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager to own & lead the cloud identity & enterprise access strategy for South Africas leading financial services company.
Cape Town based this Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager role is hybrid-working (3x a week in office) with a CTC of R13 million per year.

THE ROLE
As Identity & Access Management (IAM) Manager youll oversee the people processes and technologies that drive the companys Directory and Logical Access Platforms. Youll lead the design and operation of secure access controls across AWS Azure and on-prem environments ensuring users have the right access at the right time.
Working closely with architects and security teams youll modernise the identity landscape through automation Zero-Trust principles and integration with DevOps pipelines. This role blends strategic influence with hands-on leadership guiding IAM engineers and shaping enterprise-wide standards for provisioning authentication and governance.
REQUIREMENTS
5 years IT leadership experience focusing on IAM/governance/security architecture.
Strong background in solution design/systems architecture ideally across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
Cloud certification (AWS preferred; Azure beneficial) with hands-on understanding of IAM automation and security controls.
Proven experience delivering or managing Directory & Access Platforms (e.g. AD Azure AD LDAP SSO MFA RBAC).
Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments including use of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Solid understanding of Zero-Trust principles cloud security best practices and regulatory frameworks (POPIA ISO 27001).
