We are looking for an experienced hands-on Retail Merchandising Manager with strong FMCG exposure to join our team. This is a dynamic field-driven role suited to someone who understands that retail never sleeps and thrives beyond the desk.
Key Requirements
- 35 years experience in retail or retail merchandising within FMCG
- Proven experience working with major retailers such as Pick n Pay Checkers SPAR and Makro
- Strong understanding of the Food & Beverage category in retail
- Own reliable vehicle with valid insurance and full service history
- Willingness to travel nationally
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and MS Word
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- People-focused and relationship driven
- Ability to manage staff and external merchandising companies both on the ground and at executive level
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- References required
- Stable personal circumstances enabling consistent travel and performance
