Position Summary:
The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to executive leadership and program management teams within a Government Contracting (GovCon) environment. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent organizational skills strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the unique requirements of federal contracts compliance and documentation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling calendar management travel coordination and meeting logistics.
- Prepare review and edit correspondence reports and presentations for internal and external distribution.
- Assist with contract documentation proposal preparation and maintenance of contract files in compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.
- Maintain and track project deliverables deadlines and action items to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance HR and Contracts to support project execution and administrative compliance.
- Manage and organize confidential and sensitive information related to government contracts and personnel.
- Support onboarding timekeeping and training tracking for project staff.
- Facilitate communication between leadership project managers and government clients.
- Prepare expense reports purchase requisitions and assist with invoice processing as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of administrative policies and provide guidance to junior administrative staff.
