Description
As a Locum NP/PA you will be instrumental in delivering critical care services and managing patients with neurological conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting our healthcare partners. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in critical care and neurology settings
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary care
- Adhere to all relevant legal ethical and professional standards
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the relevant state
- Associate-level experience in Critical Care or Neurology
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
- Schedule: 5:30a-5:30p 7 on/7 off
- High acuity high volume site
Daily volume: 8-18 patients 12 on average
Must be confident and competent with standard procedures
Will work in tandem with another provider
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
