Job Summary
Industrial Product Design Intern - Packaging
As a Packaging Intern you will be part of our GSPE (Gift Set Packaging Experts) team supporting all technical tasks and processes. Youll have the opportunity to expand your technical skills while joining a dynamic fragrance and cosmetics organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support GSPE Packaging Technicians and advise the Marketing teams.
- Know and understand the end-to-end development process of the gift sets.
- Help the team with technical coordination of projects with various suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support in carrying out the tasks required in the different stages of the gift set development process.
- Understand and learn GSPE responsibilities in all legal aspects of packaging (regulation) sustainability and logistics data.
- Support the maintenance of specifications and supply chain data (weight and dimensions shipper development data enrichment).
Your main focus:
- Participate in/animate weekly review meetings for brands within her/his scope.
- Understand and support the team in adhering to all GSPE key milestones.
- Help with component drawing validation (all elements in the gift sets).
- Learn and understand the artwork process and support by providing/entering the required information in ESKO.
- Validate the artworks in ESKO and suppliers bromides according to the current SOP on technical/legal criteria.
- Edit/approve specifications in SAP RD.
- Perform validation/approval tests during the development process and report them to her/his manager.
- Fill in/maintain the technical files/trackers.
- Transmit technical agreements to suppliers.
- Collect/claim the elements/benches validated by Marketing.

The team consists of five packaging technician experts and you will work closely with several departments such as Site Initiative Leaders Procurement and Marketing. All your colleagues are immersed in a collaborative and proactive environment. Working in the team you will be part of an all-in-one team. All knowledge is shared across the team in constant development and improvement to deliver results requested by the Company Business with team building as the maximum spirit of participation and cooperation sharing the path of personal development and learning together.

Other than that you:
Are pursuing an Engineering degree.
Have knowledge in packaging components/materials and production processes.
Are fluent in English.
Are open to proposing action plans and new ideas for continuous improvement and/or value analysis.
Optimize time and manage your priorities.
Are strongly organized and communication-oriented along with critical thinking process improvement and decision-making skills.
Have a strong sense of individual accountability a personal drive to improve the status quo and passionate ownership of performance.
