Job Title: Design Systems Designer
Location: USA/South America/Europe
Contract length: 3-6 months

About the Role
Quvia is seeking a Design Systems Designer to build and improve our design system infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in component architecture design tokens and documentation for complex enterprise products. This position will be highly Figma-based involving creating variables and the visual language for cross-vertical consistency. This person will be building the building blocks or components needed to create interfaces. The ideal candidate will assist on the Figma side of building components so they can be ready to be added to the Storybook library which is critical for converting components into code for front-end developers to use.
What Youll Need
Experience
- 5 years in product design with 2 years focused specifically on design systems
- Proven track record building and scaling design systems for B2B or enterprise products
- Strong background in data-visualization interfaces including charts dashboards status indicators and color semantics
Technical Skills
- Expert-level Figma proficiency: libraries variables (collections modes aliases) component architecture auto-layout variants and file organization at scale
- Advanced interaction design: defining states transitions flows and edge cases for engineering handoff
- Experience systemizing density rules semantic tokens and interaction patterns within scalable frameworks
Systems Thinking
- Ability to design reusable maintainable components aligned with engineering constraints
- Experience documenting usage guidelines naming conventions versioning rules and governance processes.
