Employment Term: casual opportunities available
Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city
Remuneration: $29.02 per hour 12% Super NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in St Andrews War Memorial
As part of our Housekeeping team you will be accountable for providing exceptional cleaning services in our patient rooms wards offices theatres and procedural areas. You will work with industrial level cleaning equipment ensuring safe and hygienic environmental services are provided to the hospital. In addition to this you will:
Conducts quality support services in a safe environment that meets the needs of all hospital customers
Provide a housekeeping / cleaning service within the hospital environment. Clean maintain store or retrieve equipment in work area as requested
Join a large team that supports our facility 24/7 and plays a vital part in ensuring our customers visitors and staff remain safe at work
What makes a difference for us
Previous experience as a Cleaner/Housekeeping person or in a hospital/nursing environment with a knowledge of infection control guidelines and standard health precautions
Flexibility to work across all shifts - mornings afternoons evenings and weekends
Exceptional communication skills with a team focus to provide excellent customer service for the hospital its patients and staff
Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
