About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivatedHeritage Assistant to join our Wollaton Hall & Deer Park team and help us care for and enhance some of Nottinghams most treasured heritage sites.

This is your chance to play a hands-on role working in the park grounds and formal gardens of our heritage sites. To assist with day-to-day care maintenance and development of the park and wider site. You will undertake advanced horticulture nature conservation promote biodiversity and practical grounds maintenance working with a range of supportive colleagues and volunteers.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A working background interest and passion for grounds maintenance nature conservation horticulture and/ or park management
  • A working knowledge and use of a wide range of vehicles and hand held mechanical equipment including full driving licence
  • Confident Communication and interpersonal skills including working successfully in partnership building and maintaining good working relationships
  • The ability to work independently including evenings weekends school and public holidays.
  • Drive and motivation ability to deliver against challenging objectives with creativity and confidence
