Hours: 8 hours 45 minutesMonday to Friday. Daily hours between 1.45pm to 3.30pm. Term Time Only plus Inset Days

Salary: Grade 2 25185 - 25583 (Actual Salary 5117 - 5198)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant who will support SEN students within the classroom and who can also lead individual/small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities & Main Duties:

• Attend to the students personal needs and implement related personal programmes including social health physical hygiene first aid and welfare matters as appropriate.
• Supervise and support students ensuring their safety and access to learning.
• Establish constructive relationships with students acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
• Develop a good knowledge of a students individual special educational needs and implement appropriate strategies as outlined in the students profile.
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Encourage students to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
• Encourage students to act independently as appropriate
