At Embark ourProgram Director works with the Residential team to assist our clients during lifes difficult moments. The care and treatment provided helps clients and their families move toward a healthy and healing home environment. The Program Director is a key member of the leadership team specializing in direct care team member coaching development and performance for positive client care outcomes. Our healing experiential approach involves partnering with families to assist in developing communication methods social skills conflict management and academic progress.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Executive Director and fellow leadership team members to guide the overall direction and development of residential operations.
- Team Management: Lead and support residential team members through ongoing coaching training scheduling and performance development.
- Client Care Oversight: Ensure high-quality implementation of individualized client development plans supervision and communication with families and referring professionals in collaboration with the Clinical Director. Ensure age and developmentally appropriate engaging programming for clients in the residential setting.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Actively collaborate in management and treatment team meetings to align care and operations.
- Staff Training & Development: Create lead and oversee training initiatives to ensure staff deliver services in alignment with program standards and policies.
- Operational Support: Manage departmental payroll processes staffing and retention initiatives and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with HR on recruiting interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Program Innovation: Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership in behavioral health residential treatment program or similar.
- Strong experience working with adolescents in therapeutic program(s)
- Bachelors Degree in psychology management human services or related field preferred
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Current State of Colorado drivers license
- Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships
- Ability to set and teach positive values
- Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid
- Skill in de-escalation
- Ability to plan implement and adjust to plans accordingly
