What are we looking for
An Assistant Director of Human Resources serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitudebehaviours skills and values that follow:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Possesses progressive HR experience including at least 2 years in a managerial role within a 5-star international hotel chain. Experience in a prestigious luxury hotel is advantageous.
Pre-opening experience is an added advantage.
Proven ability to lead mentor and inspire a diverse team. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. A genuine passion for people and a commitment to fostering a positive work culture.
In-depth understanding of HR best practices labor laws and regulations. Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Maintains strong relationships with the local labor bureau and government agencies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Flexibility to handle various HR functions and adapt to changing priorities.

What will I be doing
As the Assistant Director of Human Resources you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Strategic HR Management
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the hotels overall objectives.
Provide guidance to department heads on workforce planning talent management and employee engagement.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding new team members.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure recruitment efforts meet staffing needs and align with the company culture.
Employee Relations
Act as the main point of contact for team members addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts in a fair and professional manner.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork open communication and mutual respect.
Performance Management
Lead the performance appraisal process ensuring timely feedback and goal-setting for all team members.
Develop and implement strategies to address performance issues and support career growth.
Learning & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities to enhance team members skills and knowledge.
Support leadership development programs to prepare team members for future roles.
HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records including attendance contracts and performance evaluations.
Ensure the hotel complies with labor laws health and safety regulations and company policies.
Compliance & Reporting
Monitor compliance with HR policies and legal requirements addressing any gaps or risks proactively.
Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior management to support decision-making.
Team Member Engagement & Retention
Develop and implement team member engagement initiatives to boost morale and reduce turnover.
Recognize and celebrate team member achievements to foster a culture of appreciation and loyalty.
