The Job:

Within the Tools & Outdoor Product Execution Group of Stanley Black & Decker we are currently looking for a Graphics Designer to join our team in Towson MD. This is a Hybrid position where the employee works remotely Monday & Friday but in the office Tuesday through Thursday. Our team is focused on creating On-Product graphics and technical labels for power tools outdoor products and home products. Our items sell under the DEWALT Craftsman Stanley and Black & Decker brands just to name a few. Youll get to:

Work with a global team of talented Industrial designers engineers and product managers. You will support our ongoing efforts to deliver products that help people to build and repair the world we live in.
Creation and execution of On-Product graphics while adhering to Brand Safety and Legal guidelines.
Fulfill requests for creative design work for logos and branding.
Assist in the ideation and development of new on-product graphical designs.
With guidance understand and apply compliance regulatory and safety information on our products.
Organize prioritize and manage multiple projects from start to finish (layout proofing and pre-press) while balancing tight deadlines.
Ability to follow established departmental processes.
Involvement in problem solving process enhancements and quality control within the department.
Collaborate with various Global teams manufacturing plants and vendors.
Coordinate with outside label suppliers for printed samples and prototyping.
Obtain translations from agencies and apply as .
Generate and provide documentation for internal records systems. Manage database of files stored.

Associates or Bachelors degree in Graphic Design / Art preferred
Ideal candidates should have strong organizational planning and project management skills and can prioritize tasks to meet business deadlines; have good written and communication skills including the ability to present ideas and problem-solving suggestions effectively.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Applications (Illustrator Photoshop) Entourage Acrobat FileMaker Pro
Diverse dependable organized detail-oriented self-starter
A team player that works well with a variety of people. Ability to work in a team environment.
Communicate effectively with internal and external associates and vendors
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $60000- $72000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
