Job Summary
The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for aSeasonal Ocean Club Concierge & Membership Ambassador to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

Pay Rate:The pay rate for this role is $22.36 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Overview:
Team Members who encompass the role of Ocean Club Concierge & Membership Ambassador take the initiative to deliver a unique and memorable experience by providing a wide range ofservices that makes the transaction feel like a part of an elevated experience for all guests and Members.
What will I be doing
- Gather summarize and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities including special events and activities.
- Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g. Bellperson Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call request or problem. Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks. Monitor club lounge for seating availability service safety and well-being of guests.
- Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
- Receive record and relay messages accurately completely and legibly.
- Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs.
- Communicate VIP arrivals and acknowledge any and all Member/ Owners of the Resort.
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party. Seat guests based on server rotation and cover count and by finding a clean available table; pulling out chairs; placing clean/current menu in front of guest etc.
- Guide guests through the dining rooms and Buffet providing any needed assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability service safety and well being of guests.
- All other duties as assigned.
