Job Summary

Ocean Import Assistant Manager

Ocean Import Assistant Manager (5 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Assistant Manager with strong operational expertise and the ability to work independently in a small-office environment. This role involves overseeing full-cycle ocean import operations communicating with clients and carriers and ensuring accurate and timely documentation flow. Candidates who are detail-oriented highly organized and comfortable working quietly and efficiently with minimal supervision will be an excellent fit.

Responsibilities:

Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations (NVOCC freight forwarder or logistics company).
Experience managing the full import cycle with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills in English; basic Korean proficiency required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook).
Knowledge of U.S. customs processes CBP regulations HTS codes INCOTERMS and import compliance.
Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Valid proof of employment eligibility in the United States.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Qualifications:
