Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver interactive lectures and workshops on the principles of teamwork and effective communication in engineering
Teach students about team dynamics including roles responsibilities and strategies for successful collaboration
Guide students in developing both verbal and written communication skills essential for technical professionals such as presenting ideas providing feedback and facilitating group discussions
Facilitate group projects and collaborative problem-solving activities that address engineering challenges
Explore the broader impact of teamwork and communication on the engineering profession and society
Assess student performance through group assignments presentations and reflective exercises
Provide constructive feedback to support student growth in teamwork and
communication
Hold office hours to assist students outside of class time

Requirements:

Masters degree or higher in Engineering Communication Education or a related field
Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
Strong understanding of team dynamics collaborative problem-solving and
professional communication in engineering
Ability to mentor students in both individual and group settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience facilitating teamwork or communication workshops in an engineering or technical context
Familiarity with multidisciplinary or project-based learning environments
Experience supervising or coaching student teams on engineering projects
Please note that this position requires teaching in French.
