We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology . As a Locum MD Ob/Gyn. you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise in womens health will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare facilities. As a Locum MD Ob/Gyn you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from prenatal care and childbirth to gynecological surgeries and reproductive health. Your role is essential in ensuring continuity of care for patients addressing their medical needs and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve positive health outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed.
• Conduct prenatal visits and assist in childbirth deliveries.
• Diagnose and treat various womens health conditions and disorders.
• Collaborate with nurses midwives and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient medical histories symptoms and treatment plans accurately.
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices and treatment options.
• Adhere to medical protocols regulations and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a physician.
• Proven experience in providing obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts Monday-Thursday 24-hour shifts Friday-Sunday

Responsibilities: ER consults GYN surgeries

Support Staff: OBGYN & midwife

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
