**Position Available: Staff OB/GYN Physician**
**Location: Brattleboro Vermont**
**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician to join a well-established practice dedicated to providing comprehensive womens health care. Our practice emphasizes a collaborative physician-respected and community-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining a high quality of life and flexible scheduling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver full-spectrum obstetrical and gynecological care to a diverse patient population.
- Manage gynecological consultations from surrounding primary care providers and in-house midwives.
- Perform a variety of office-based gynecological procedures.
- Maintain a consistent surgical volume utilizing three newly equipped operating rooms.
- Conduct minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries.
- Work 34 clinic days per week managing a patient load of approximately 1214 cases daily.
- Allocate an average of three designated operating room days per month.
- Provide backup support for midwife-led obstetric care focusing primarily on uncomplicated deliveries.
- Participate in a manageable home call model shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation).
- Support a birth center that offers VBACs water births nitrous oxide analgesia and 24-hour epidural services.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physicians certified nurse midwives nurse practitioners RNs and medical assistants.
- Practice evidence-based OB/GYN care within a state that protects reproductive rights constitutionally.
- Engage in a long-standing practice with minimal staff and physician turnover ensuring continuity of care.
**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO degree (Required)
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (Required)
- If Board Eligible please include graduation date (Required)
- Clean malpractice history (Required)
- Active Vermont medical license (to be obtained prior to start) (Required)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in OB/GYN (U.S. or Canada) (Required)
**Certification Requirements:**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- State license as per Vermont requirements
**Additional License Information:**
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
