Job Summary

The Calais School is a state-approved provider of special education for students with special needs. The school serves students in grades K 12 with multiple learning disabilities. As a One to One Aide you will provide complete support to an individual student throughout the day and assist him or her in the Special Education classroom to reinforce new lessons.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Providing one-on-one tutoring for students
  • Assisting with classroom management
  • Providing instructional support in the classroom gym and other specials
  • Providing instructional support to a student under the direct supervision of a teacher
  • Substitute for teachers who are out of the classroom as needed
