General Information:
Job title: Rehab Registration Aide
Schedules Available: Full-time 80 hours per pay period; four 10-hour shifts
Weekend rotation: No weekends
Holiday rotation: Paid Time Off for Holidays
Position Summary:
The Rehab Service Aide position supports the Rehab staff with all type of tasks including registration insurance verification and approval cleaning and scheduling to provide the patient with excellent service.
Position Responsibilities:
- Greet and schedule patients for new or follow up appointments.
- Call insurance providers to verify coverage and what they offer for outpatient therapy benefits.
- Get approval from insurance providers that require prior authorization.
- Manage billing.
- Clean the building and do laundry to maintain a clean safe work environment.
- Answer phone calls and direct as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- 1 years of related work experience required.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
- Knowledge of insurance system and HIPAA preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
