Job Summary
Part-time Phlebotomist (at the rank of Laboratory Assistant) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics School of Public Health (Ref.: 533356) (to commence as soon as possible for six months with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should have completed Form 5 and be a registered phlebotomist in Hong Kong preferably with at least one years experience in phlebotomy or experience in population studies. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be organized responsible self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team.
The appointee will be responsible for field work of a birth cohort study. The appointee will support the clinical services for the study perform venipuncture handle biological specimens of participants and assist in general administrative work and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside regular office hours or on weekends/public holidays may be required.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
