NAMI Greater San Antonio is a non-profit affiliate of NAMI the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life for people of all ages who are affected by mental illnesses. NAMI Greater San Antonio is dedicated to advocacy for and education of persons with mental illnesses/brain disorders and their families and to the eradication of stigma.
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for leading and managing operations of NAMI Greater San Antonio. The ED reports to and works in partnership with the Board of Directors to ensure that programs and activities support the goals and objectives of the organization. The ED works closely with the Board of Directors staff volunteers and community partners to enhance the organizations impact and sustainability.
