Our Federal Client is at the forefront of national security driving innovation in intelligence and cyber security to safeguard Australias interests in an increasingly complex global landscape.

About the Role:

Our Federal Client is looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to support innovation and integration effects within a specialised engineering development and integration team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of enterprise-wide cloud and IT solution architectures aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Oversee the specification and design of complex IT systems integrating cloud services legacy platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Direct engineering teams across cloud infrastructure DevOps and security domains ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Manage integration and delivery of technical staff and vendors
  • Champion innovation in cloud engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop enterprise architecture frameworks and ensure alignment between business strategy IT capabilities and operational models.
  • Build organisational engineering capability through mentoring process improvement and workforce development.
  • Manage integration of complex IT systems and cloud services ensuring seamless interoperability and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Qualifications in Computer Science IT Systems Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in leading delivery of cloud architecture (AWS Azure GCP) and IT systems engineering.
  • Proven leadership in engineering management and technical strategy.
  • Experience in DevOps CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud security.
  • Experience in AIC ISR or intelligence domains is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ICT accreditation and engineering approval processes and requirements

Work Environment:

Full-time onsite Canberra ACT.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV2 Security Clearance.
