About the Role:

Our Federal Client is looking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to support innovation and integration effects within a specialised engineering development and integration team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of enterprise-wide cloud and IT solution architectures aligned with strategic business goals.
Oversee the specification and design of complex IT systems integrating cloud services legacy platforms and emerging technologies.
Direct engineering teams across cloud infrastructure DevOps and security domains ensuring delivery excellence.
Manage integration and delivery of technical staff and vendors
Champion innovation in cloud engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Develop enterprise architecture frameworks and ensure alignment between business strategy IT capabilities and operational models.
Build organisational engineering capability through mentoring process improvement and workforce development.
Manage integration of complex IT systems and cloud services ensuring seamless interoperability and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

Qualifications in Computer Science IT Systems Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in leading delivery of cloud architecture (AWS Azure GCP) and IT systems engineering.
Proven leadership in engineering management and technical strategy.
Experience in DevOps CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud security.
Experience in AIC ISR or intelligence domains is highly desirable.
Experience with ICT accreditation and engineering approval processes and requirements

Work Environment:

Full-time onsite Canberra ACT.

Security Requirements:

To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current NV2 Security Clearance.
