Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager you will be the primary Point of Contact (POC) for driving company partnerships at large @ and business development initiatives in your city.
Your mission:
Build strategic relationships with organisations for Cloud Counselages B2B offerings @
Generate leads conduct outreach and set up meetings for the CRO or senior leadership
Represent Cloud Counselage in your city for all corporate engagement partnership and client acquisition efforts
Additionally support B2C sales activities for employability programs when required
This is a high-ownership growth-oriented role for ambitious professionals passionate about sales partnerships and purpose-driven business expansion.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Market Development
- Research and identify potential partner companies across industries
- Build and manage a strong B2B sales pipeline through outbound calls emails LinkedIn and networking
- Generate qualified leads and set up discovery meetings for the CRO or Leadership Team
2. Partnership Development
- Present Cloud Counselages B2B offerings effectively to senior leadership teams of client companies
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships to drive partnerships and sponsorships
- Represent the company in meetings and act as the face of Cloud Counselage in your assigned city
3. On-Ground Business Development
- Conduct on-site meetings and visits to potential client offices or partner events
- Fix and coordinate local meetings for the CRO and leadership team
- Identify local networking or business events for client prospecting
4. Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing Operations and HR) to align messaging and partnership proposals
- Maintain accurate data and progress in the company CRM
- Provide regular updates and insights to the CRO / Leadership
5. B2C Sales Support (As Required)
- Assist in lead generation outreach and conversions for B2C programs
- Support local roadshows expos and community events that attract student or professional participation
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified company leads generated
- Number of meetings fixed and executed
- Number and value of partnerships closed
- Revenue contribution and conversion ratio
- City-level engagement activity (events visits presentations)
Eligibility Criteria
- 1-5 years of experience in Business Development Corporate Sales or Partnerships
- Proven track record in B2B partnership development
- Experience in EdTech HRTech Consulting sector preferred
- Education: Diploma / Bachelors / Masters in Business Marketing or related field
- Familiarity with platforms such as WhatsApp LinkedIn Google Workspace and basic CRM tools.
- Working laptop and stable internet connection (mandatory)
- Membership of the Industry Academia Community (IAC) sign up at

- Strong presentation and relationship management abilities
