We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to join our logistics team. As a key member of our operation you will be responsible for safely operating Class 4 and Class 5 vehicles maintaining accurate records and promoting positive client relations. Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 4 and Class 5 vehicles including milk tankers log trucks and bulk transport vehicles
Conduct pre-start checks and maintain assigned vehicles in sound condition
Comply with company policies health & safety procedures and New Zealand transport regulations
Maintain accurate delivery and collection records using company systems
Promote positive client relations and represent the company professionally
Participate in practical assessments including controlled test drives and defined routes
Engage in workplace exposure sessions to meet real drivers on shift

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a heavy truck driver
Prior work in logistics freight or transport operations preferred
Strong work ethic reliability and pride in vehicle care
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance
Valid Class 4 or Class 5 drivers license
Willingness to participate in practical assessments and workplace exposure sessions
