Job Summary

Summary:

We are seeking dependable and experienced Class 5 Driver Operators to support critical road maintenance and construction projects across the Auckland region. Based at the Penrose depot this role is integral to the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives requiring safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles and additional plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate Class 5 vehicles in line with site and regulatory standards

Support the execution of transport and construction activities across the regional network

Operate additional plant machineryincluding excavators rollers graders and truckswhen qualified and required

Assist with general labouring tasks and proficiently use hand tools to complete daily work assignments

Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols operational procedures and compliance requirements

Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes and contribute to project efficiency

Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and team members

Requirements

Valid and full Class 5 New Zealand driver licence

Demonstrated reliability punctuality and strong work ethic

Proven commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour and site-based duties

WTR endorsements are advantageous

Relevant experience operating heavy vehicles in civil construction or infrastructure environments

Proven ability to operate multiple types of plant equipment

Positive attitude adaptability and a proactive can do mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
