The Senior Project Engineer specializes in the planning organization and development of engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of facilities such as roads railroads bridges and water systems. This individual is responsible for planning and conducting work requiring judgment in the evaluation selection application and adaptation of engineering techniques procedures and criteria. This individual is also responsible for devising new approaches to problems and preparing or modifying drawings specifications calculations charts and graphs and monitoring work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices. This may include structural traffic and geotechnical engineers to name a few.

Part Time hours may be available for this position at managements discretion.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE: As an expert in the field uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues
and broad design matters.
JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on issues that impact major projects or a section of engineers and designers.
SUPERVISION: Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. May
supervise engineer design and/or the activities of others.
EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience. Bachelors Degree in Engineering PE License required and LEED certificate may be required.
