Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Teach a stimulating and challenging curriculum focused on Religious Studies Philosophy and Ethics across Key Stage 3 GCSE and A-Level.
- Develop students critical thinking skills ensuring they engage deeply with complex philosophical ethical and theological issues.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages informed debate and intellectual curiosity.
- Organise and lead enrichment activities such as debate clubs or visiting speaker programmes.
Requirements
- An outstanding academic background in Religious Studies Philosophy or a closely related field and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrable experience teaching high-achieving pupils up to A-Level.
- A commitment to the subject as an essential discipline for intellectual development and moral reasoning.
- Suitable for experienced teachers or ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
