The Service Reliability Manager is a strategic role responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire lifecycle of the organisations IT environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee non-production IT environments ensuring stability and reliability.
- Manage environment lifecycle including provisioning configuration and decommissioning.
- Enforce environment governance policies for usage access control and data management.
- Ensure environment readiness and alignment with release schedules.
- Coordinate environment-related requests and mediate competing priorities.
- Communicate with stakeholders to meet project requirements and support strategic objectives.
- Act as gatekeeper for environment access and deployment approvals.
- Collaborate with SRE and Incident Management to define and maintain SLOs SLAs and SLIs.
- Drive automation of environment provisioning and configuration.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in environment management DevOps or infrastructure operations
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Bash PowerShell Python)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across technical teams
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and test data management
- Leadership skills to motivate teams manage competing demands and make informed decisions
- Strategic thinking to align environment strategy with business objectives
