Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Maintenance Manager for a distinguished luxury private game reserve located in Bela Bela. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for maintaining the highest standards in a remote hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all maintenance operations across the property including infrastructure plumbing electrical systems vehicles and equipment
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team
Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns and repairs promptly
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
Liaise with other department heads to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience
Maintain records of maintenance tasks inventory levels and supplier relationships
Provide regular reports on maintenance performance and ongoing projects
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior maintenance role preferably within the hospitality or lodge industry
Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general repairs
Experience managing a team and coordinating maintenance schedules
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Ability to work under pressure and in a remote location
Valid drivers license
Package Includes:
Competitive salary: R35000 R40000 (Negotiable based on experience)
