Job Summary
Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Solution Architect with a strong background in core banking transformation. Based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City the ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of software development experience and a proven track record of designing and modernizing core banking systems. The successful candidate will drive the definition of scalable secure and future-ready architectures that enable banks to transform their core platforms improve agility and comply with evolving regulatory and customer needs.

Key Activities
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solution architectures for core banking transformation and modernization initiatives
Assess legacy core banking systems identify constraints and propose modernized architectures that balance flexibility cost efficiency and compliance
Collaborate with stakeholders (business product SME and delivery teams) to define solution blueprints aligned with banking strategy
Provide architectural oversight and ensure consistency across payments lending deposits and other banking domains
Guide technical teams in integrating core banking platforms with digital channels payment gateways and regulatory systems
Ensure architectural decisions adhere to banking industry best practices standards and security requirements
Manage and mitigate Risks Assumptions Issues and Decisions (RAID) across the transformation lifecycle
Define frameworks reference architectures and reusable assets for core banking modernization
Required Skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Deep expertise in core banking systems (e.g. deposits loans payments customer accounts GL compliance)
Proven experience in banking system implementation migration or transformation projects
Minimum 4 years in a Solution Architect role OR 5 years in banking technology/platform engineering
Hands-on proficiency with Java Spring Boot Kafka Microservices Event-Driven Architectures
Strong knowledge of transaction processing settlement payment systems and regulatory compliance
Solid understanding of enterprise architecture API-driven design integration frameworks and legacy modernization
Ability to bridge business and technology translate requirements into scalable solutions
Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with leading core banking platforms (e.g. Temenos Thought Machine T24 Finacle Flexcube Mambu)
Exposure to digital banking and open banking ecosystems
Prior involvement in banking migration programs (core replacement coexistence phased rollout)
Experience in technical pre-sales / consultative solutioning for banking transformation
T-shaped expertise across cloud infrastructure security and database technologies
- Track record of thought leadership in banking modernization (frameworks best practices industry standards)
