Architecture & Solution Design
Design and take ownership of the full solution architecture for smart contractdriven banking products including product lifecycle posting rules hooks and upgrade strategy.
Convert business and regulatory needs into scalable well-structured financial product designs.
Ensure solution designs align with banking standards accounting principles and platform design constraints.
Control and coordinate APIs data models schedules workflows and system integration points across the digital banking ecosystem.
Lead architecture reviews document key technical decisions and assess delivery and operational risks.
Technical Leadership & Governance
Guide multiple smart contract delivery teams to maintain consistent architecture code quality and engineering practices.
Coach technical leads and developers on smart contract design patterns testing approaches and release controls.
Define coding standards testing strategies (unit integration end-to-end) and CI/CD pipelines for smart contract development.
Oversee defect triage production issue analysis and root-cause investigations related to postings schedules and financial calculations.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
Act as the senior technical point of contact for smart contract discussions with clients and executive stakeholders.
Run solution workshops to clarify product logic workflows schedules fees interest calculations and accounting postings.
Explain architectural options and trade-offs to guide stakeholders toward scalable and compliant designs.
Coordinate closely with Product Owners Business Analysts and Delivery Leads to align scope and delivery priorities.
Solution Delivery
Work closely with DevOps QA Infrastructure and Security teams to support controlled releases and operational readiness.
Manage smart contract versioning migration plans schedule changes and feature upgrade paths.
Put in place monitoring observability and debugging practices across all environments.
Own technical roadmaps architecture backlogs sprint inputs and delivery risk mitigation plans.
Innovation & Practice Development
Continuously enhance smart contract architecture standards and engineering practices.
Review new platform features tools and industry trends to support ongoing modernization.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and capability-building initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
Extensive experience (12 years) in backend engineering or solution architecture with strong fundamentals in Python.
Proven hands-on background (2 years) delivering smart contract solutions on a modern core banking or ledger-based platform.
In-depth understanding of smart contract architecture including posting logic hooks ledgers workflows versioning and scheduling mechanisms.
Demonstrated experience designing complex financial products such as lending savings deposits cards fees or interest-based offerings.
Strong knowledge of distributed system design including microservices CQRS event-driven architectures and API integrations.
Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines source control strategies automated testing and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
Proven track record of leading delivery across multiple teams in agile development environments.
