Job Summary
We are inviting applications for the position of Full-time Chef de Rang at Terre.
When you work for us not only will you be working for one of Irelands Michelin Star Restaurants but you will also be working for a company where the skills and knowledge you gain here will be recognised in the industry worldwide.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:
- Experience as Chef de Rang in a luxury fine dining environment.
- Supervisory skills are needed to direct the Commis de Rang.
Personal Qualities
- Ability to show a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
- Be self-motivated being able to work alone with good personal organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- An exceptional eye for detail.
- Have a passion for fine food and go out of your way to ensure the best possible standards are being delivered every service.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
- Provide an exceptional guest service experience.
- Be an excellent communicator and take a hands-on approach to your role.
- Have a real passion for food and wine enabling you to up sell and promote the items by your personal knowledge from the menu.
- Be responsible for the management of junior staff and their learning and development.
- Be keen to attend training sessions provided by management to develop their skills.
- Be a talented individual with proven experience within a comparable environment.
